Our story

Opened on November 7, 1990, SCALA Confectionery is one of the first confectioneries that started in Oradea, in a central location on Decebal Boulevard, a busy area since then.

Recognized for its traditional products, original recipes and sweets like at home, the bakery produces in its own laboratories all the sweets needed for important events in our lives, namely: cakes and cookies for weddings, christenings, birthdays or other private or corporate events.

We are proud to mention that in 2015 we became Carrefour Market partners, and in 2020 we added Carrefour Market, Mega Image and La Doi Pasi as well as other local stores to our list of partners.

Due to the positive feedback from customers satisfied with the quality of the products, we decided in 2016 to build a new, modern location, adapted to the new trends, but also to other categories of customers as before. As a result, in February 2018 the SCALA Iosia Confectionery opened.

We offer our customers traditional products such as Amandina, Eclerul or Savarina, all processed with the highest quality raw materials, but also diversified products for all tastes and preferences of customers of all ages.

We try to offer to everyone diversified assortments of cakes, cakes, tarts, pastries, mini cakes, cakes or baigli, as well as assistance for any type of custom order.

Since SCALA Confectionery’s motto is “The taste of sweet memories”, we aim to constantly improve the quality of our products and to diversify as much as possible the range of products to satisfy even the most demanding tastes so that we can truly offer only sweet memories.
